Origin Story

After the tragic events on September 11th, 2001, I committed my life to the United States Navy’s Fast Attack Submarine Fleet from 2001-2006. It was there that I learned to embrace not only the Navy’s Core Values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment but also many others, such as meticulous attention to detail, personal discipline, responsibility and accountability, clear communication, teamwork, sacrifice, resiliency, adaptability, and technical training. My time in the Navy was invaluable and helped forge me into the man I am today.

Coming home after my time in the military was shocking. I felt as though I had been locked in a time capsule while the world moved on without me. Nothing seemed the same as when I left, and re-assimilation into civilian life was harder and took longer than I anticipated. I took my time—building a relationship with my son, coaching pee-wee football, serving as Vice President of the PTA, and finding new purpose outside of the military.

Eventually, I found a professional calling in the Residential HVAC industry. This industry allowed me to apply the many values I learned in the Navy while continuing to serve my community—albeit in a much different capacity. Now, instead of providing comfort through the intense focus of putting ordnance on target, on time, I help my clients by providing literal comfort within their homes. The parallels are surprisingly similar: gather intelligence, design a game plan, communicate clearly, work as a team, and overcome adversity while troubleshooting highly technical electronic systems that homeowners rely on.

The only thing the Navy didn’t train me for specifically was delivering Admirable Customer Service Experiences, which I place a VERY high value on. For that, I turned to the ultimate source of wisdom and guidance—our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I believe that serving Him drives us to strive for excellence in all that we do to glorify Him.

  • Colossians 3:23-24 (ESV) – “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
  • Matthew 5:16 (ESV) – “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
  • Luke 17:10 (ESV) – “So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.'”

By using the blessings God has given us—whether talents, time, or opportunities—to pursue excellence, we reflect His glory and fulfill our calling to serve Him and others faithfully. Admirable Air exists not just to fix HVAC systems, but to serve with purpose, integrity, and a commitment to doing things the right way—every time.

Thank you for considering Admirable Air. I look forward to the privilege of serving you and your family.
